IBM SPSS is a statistical tool for quantitative data analysis and offers a wide range of functions, including:
• More complex statistical methods and procedures (t-tests, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis, curve smoothing, non-parametric tests, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, reliability analysis, multivariate scaling ALSCAL, multiple responses, etc.)
• The possibility to extend functionalities with custom user functions via scripts or new procedures in different programming languages, e.g. Python, R
• Display of statistical data in maps of the Czech Republic (outlines) at the level of regions, districts, Municipalities with extended competence, and European countries
• Methods for statistical processing of data from questionnaire surveys conducted with complex samples (e.g. multistage)
• Missing value analysis – structure detection, summarization, patterns, missing observations estimation (including multiple imputations)
• Calculation of test reliability by using the bootstrap method
• Models with latent variables estimation (e.g. confirmatory factor analysis) using the structural equation modelling methodology
• Advanced diagnostic methods of the linear regression model (diagnostics of residual assumptions)
• RFM analysis (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) for exploring customer data
• Geospatial analysis methods for exploring relationships between data due to the geographical location
